Music When Writing -
I love to listen to music when writing I hate the silence. Plus it helps me concentrate better and some times certain songs will like really get those creative juices flowing and/or influence a part of my book. Sometimes I tend to associate certain songs with certain characters or certain parts in my book even if it's say a love song for like an action scene just because I was listening to it when I wrote it or first thought of it, or just because it reminds me of what a certain character was feeling. The point being I'm really big into listening to music while writing because I cant just have nothing going on but if I like have the t.v. on or something I tend to get to easily distracted.
Now about some of the songs I listen to while writing and whatnot. Usually I just listen to whatever I feel like at the moment, but some key songs are like ones done for other books turned movies like Taylor Swift's Eyes Open for Hunger Games (While I love Safe and Sound I feel it doesn't really go with my book) and also Carrie Underwoods There's A Place For Us from Narnia and Avril Lavigne's Keep Holding On, plus others. Now the main song I think of when I think about my book is Taylor Swift's Long Live because when I first heard that song was when I first got the idea for my book and also The Band Perry's If I Die Young for some reason that I don't know.
Okay, I should probably get back to actually writing my book, so more later. =)
Now, I have been a little behind on my writing but I am getting back on track, and right now I am at 31,361 words, which I feel is pretty good not the best but okay.
