Baking On Firday: Sugar Free Mango Lemonade

First of all, yes I know that today is Sunday, secondly I'm off to a great start on these baking on Friday posts, aren't I? But seriously, this week I have two birthday cakes to make and some banana pumpkin muffins, so yeah there will posts on Fridays!
Also, because I had food poisoning yesterday and I have to make two birthday cakes this week and I had a cold from last Friday through Tuesday I didn't actually bake anything so this week it's a drink, okay?

Sugar-Free Flavored Lemonade -
Blackberry Lemonade
Bookish-Pairing - I just read Catch A Falling Star by Kim Culbertson and in it the main character works at her parents cafe and they drink allot of flavored tea and lemonade so that is my pairing this week!

Ingridents -

  1. Fruit Of Choice - I did Mangos and used 4
  2. Water
  3. Lemon Juice
  4. sugar - I used Splenda
Directions -

  1. Peel/cut/chop your fruit of choice
  2. Puree your fruit of choice with 2 tablespoons water, 2 tablespoons sugar -Set aside
  3. fill a pitcher 3/4 with water
  4. Start with 1 cup lemon juice 1 cup sugar and just keep adding until it tastes right
  5. Add fruit puree and mix
  6. Strawberry/mango lemonade
    and Raspberry Lemonade
  7. serve with ice
That has to sound like the stupidest recipe ever, I swear. But what I did was instead of adding all the puree to the lemonade I kept them separate with the puree in a jar in the fridge and then you just put 2 or 3 spoon fulls into the bottom of a glass, add lemonade, stir and drop in a few ice cubes and your good to go. I did it this way because I made multiple flavorings and then you can mix and match and what not. =)
