Top Ten Tuesday #10 :Top Ten Most Unique Books I've Read

Hosted by The Broke and The Bookish

I freely admit that these might not be the most unique books in the world but I had issues with this weeks topic!

  1. Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson - It is unique in the was that it is told from Tinker Bells POV
  2. Stronger by Micheal Carrol - This is the third in the SuperHuman series and one of my favorite books. This series centers around a bunch of Superhumans, super heroes and villains, and this book is all about Brawn one the "villains" and his struggle to be a hero when with one look everyone thought him a villain and I just love it so much.
  3. The Devouring by Simon Holt - I loved all three of these books, they're about these creatures called the Vours and just read this quote real quick - "When Dark Creeps In and eats the light, bury you fears on Sorry Night. For in the winters darkest hours, Comes the feasting of the Vours. No one can see it, the life they stole, Your body's here but not your soul..."
  4. Delirium by Lauren Oliver - Okay I know not everybody loved Delirium or how this series ended but it is very unique especially in it's ending.
  5. House Of Dark Shadows Robert Liparulo - These are really good interesting highly UNIQUE books.
  6. Ashes & Ice by Rochelle Maya Callen - I just read this book and I love it so much. For the majority of this book you don't know exactly what is going on but when you do it's like SHOCKING and highly unique.
  7. Everlost by Neal Shusterman- I loved these books, even though in my opinion they kinda go down hill after the first, but this take on death and the power struggle and all is very unique and interesting
  8. Ancient Strange and Lovely by Susan Fletcher - I loved this whole series of dragon books and they are pretty unique this one more so than the others, this one is kinda set in the future where this girl finds a baby dragon egg.
  9. Holders Dominon by Genese Davis- I just really liked this book and its whole premise is pretty unique. The way it bounces between the main character in real life and the main character in an MMO and how the two worlds intersect, it's just really good.
  10. The Prophcey by Dawn Miller- The question is what exactly is this book about? I'm still not positive. I read it when I was like 14 and I loved it but it's one of those highly mysterious books that keeps you guessing, I mean obviously it's got a whole angels apocalypse thing going on but it doesn't really get wrapped up and explained and I as far as I know the sequel never came out and so it's still all a big mystery. This is one of those books that haunts me because I remember really loving it and I still go out online searching for info on a sequel sometimes. Now I think it is considered a Christan book but from what I remember it's not very heavily religious, but again I read it awhile ago.
As you may have noticed I struggled a little with this weeks post and obviously I was going for some kind of record of how many times I could insert the word unique into this post. =) Don't forget to leave a link in the comments  to your Top Ten Tuesday!

    1. Yes, you must read it but carve out a nice chunk of time for it because you may feel the need to just lay there and have a good cry afterwards, just sayin'. =)

  4. I've been intending to read Tiger Lily for awhile now! Ashes Strange and Lovely sounds so good as well.

I agree it was kind of tough at first thinking of unique books - I was worried I'd pick something that turned out to be completely derivative of another book or something. Hah!
