Top Ten Tuesday #13: Top Ten Books If You Like Music

Hosted by The Broke and The Bookish
This weeks topic is -Top Ten Books If You Like X (so and so tv show, movie, comic, anything) and so I picked Top Ten Books If You Like Music. Books and music are my two favorite things and in a way they go hand in hand, they're both about telling stories, they both allow for an escape from reality, and personally I love when books and music overlap, on soundtracks for a book turned movie and more importantly when music plays a major part in a book, it can be just that the main character loves music or simply that the chapter names are lyrics, or where the main character actually plays or sings, my favorite though are where the character write music especially when the lyrics are included in the book. Either way here are my Top Ten books with a musical theme that I think any music/YA fan would love.

  2. I've read some of the books on your list! I absolutely adore This Song Will Save Your Life, it so freaking amazing. Have you read Saving June by Hannah Harrington? It's music themed too and it's absolutely wonderful.

    1. Thanks and no surprisingly I have never read that, I've have almost bought it many times but then I end up reading something else, because I already own too many books that I haven't read so my brother locked me out of my amazon account, and I end up forgetting about it, this problem needs to be rectified immediately!

  7. I have never read a music themed book before. Well... I am reading the Stage Divers series right now, which is about a rock band, but I am not sure if that qualifies, seeing as the plot is not centering around the music, but the band members relationships. :)
