Baking On Friday: My 18th Birthday Cake(Pie)

Backstory: For as long as I can remember my Grandma had made these Blueberry Cheese Pies, basically cheesecake but in a pie shell, but about 4 four years ago she passed away not too long before my birthday and no more cheese pie. A couple years my mom bought the containers of cheesecake filling and cans of blueberry topping and we "made" our own and it was delicious but this year I decided to try and make homemade ones since I'm getting into baking and everything and this is the result:
First can I point out that apparently to make cheese pie one does not simply make a cheese cake and pour the batter into a pie shell, oh no that's not how it works! I did not know this and I'm getting ready to make it and my mom sees the recipe sitting on the counter and informs me that that is not how you make a cheese pie and my thing is you think she would have told me this when I sent her the ingredient list so she could buy everything! So, yeah. She dug out my grandmas recipe which I didn't know we had, again you think she would have told me this! The problem was that pretty much every cheese pie recipe calls for eagle brand milk which is very high in the sugar department and I have to make sugar free for my brother! Universe? Why you no like me?
Anywho after some googling I found out that in cheese pie you can substitute eagle brand milk for cool whip! Who knew tight? Apparently this person.

So here it is the recipe:
The Pie:
Ingredients:
  - 1 pie shell
  - 1 8 ounce container of regular cream cheese
  - 1 8 ounce container sugar free whip cream
  - 1 tablespoon lime juice
  - 1/2 cup splenda

Directions -
  - Whip the softened cream cheese and sugar in a mixing bowl until fluffy
  - Add whip cream and lime juice mix until incorporated
  - Add to pre-baked pie shelf let set in fridge for 2-4 hours
  - Add blueberries - pie filling or fresh

The Topping: A can of blueberry pie topping! Sorry the recipe I found did not work out right and so we just threw plain old blueberries on top!

P.S. I know that I took pictures of the pie but I can not find them in my dropbox so here's a picture of my cats instead!
