Song Of The Moment - Shatter Me by Lindsey Stirling feat. Lzzy Hale
I'm experimenting with manga. I've never felt the need or urge to read it before and so never have, nor have I ever watched anime, partially because, I admit, I was kinda influenced by my brother who says anime is a lazy art style which I do kinda still agree with. But anyways, my other brother recently bought Attack On Titan vol. 1 and I thought why not? Try something new, right? And so I read it and I enjoyed it, the story more than the art and so I have now decided to experiment a little with some manga, try out some different series and see where it takes me. Maybe I'll end up really loving it, maybe it will inspire me in my own writing and story telling and plus some of the stories just sound bad ass.
On to Manga Talk #1* - Attack On Titan
Rating: 3 stars - I liked it! But I don't have enough experience to accurately rate a manga!
Will I read more of the series? Yes, but only when my brother buys them because I don't know if I'm going to like them enough to justify actually buying them.
Did you get a headache whiling trying to remember to read backwards? Yes.
How about that art? All the titans look the same and there are seemingly random black lines to show movement or something that make the pictures blurry and confuses me because I can't tell what is happening.
The story? - Highly enjoyable.
Now, how do you feel about magna? - Like they have good stories and need to write a real book or comic that maybe reads the right way? Yeah, that's how I feel.
What's next in your experiment? Death Note - it sounds really cool and a lot of people have recommended it to me so, yeah.
*These posts will continue until I decide to switch to real reviews but right now I don't think I know enough about or have read enough(only 1) manga to accurately review any of them.
Now, who amongst you will join me in my adventure? More importantly do any of you read manga? and if so..recommendations please!
