So if you know anything about NaNoWriMo or if don't I will quickly explain it once more. National Novel Writing Month, happens every November with Camp Sessions in April and July. Basically you try and write 50,000 words, the length of an average novel, in one month. Now in Camp Sessions you can choose your own goal, so you can do more or less than 50k, and you're grouped into a cabin where you can talk to other novelists.
I found out at the beginning of the month that there is this thing called a 50k week wherein you try and write the 50,000 words in 7 DAYS. I first I'm like, that's crazy! But as the month progressed and I got further and further into my writing and I was really enjoying challenging myself so I decided, why not? Lets try this crazy impossible goal....and well I kind of did it.
Here's my stats starting last Wednesday through last night(Tuesday) at around 11:39 -
Day 1 - 7.516
Day 2 - 8,243
Day 3 - 3,999
Day 4 - 8,435
Day 5 - 8,335
Day 6 - 5,148
Day 7 - 8,549
TOTAL - 50,225 words written!!!!
So that was crazy. I have barely had a life outside of writing this month, which is fine by me, and I am severely sleep deprived from this last week, but it's been kinda awesome. I am still doing NaNoWriMo for the rest of the month, about a week, because I haven't quite finished the newest book I'm working on(I'll explain all this in my NaNo wrap up at the end of the month) but for today I plan on sleeping.
Also does anyone remember the episode of How I Met Your Mother with Barneys perfect week? For whatever reason every time I think 50k week I think perfect week!
Total Words Written Overall This Month: 90,676
So what has been going on in your life this week? Writing? Reading? Crazy adventures? Please I have no real Internet I'm desperate!
