Feature Follow Friday #1

Alison Can Read Feature & Follow

So this is a meme hosted by Alison Can Read and Parajunkee, it's a great why to find new blogs and get new followers! So make sure to check out their blogs and this weeks Featured Bloggers!

I have been debating about joining in on this meme for months now and I have finally decided to go ahead and do it but, depending on the week I may only be doing it every other week, kinda like I've been doing with my WoWs!

This Weeks Question:

Are you also a writer and what genre or did you ever consider writing?

So if you've been following me for any length of time then you may know that this is like the perfect week for me to jump in on this. To answer the question yes I am also a writer(technically I tend to refer to myself as an "aspiring" author). Genre wise I've done mainly Fantasy(both YA and Middle Grade) but I am currently working on a YA Contemporary...so yeah.

What about you!?

  1. I love your theme! So cute! YA contemp are the easiest to read, but rather hard to write, in my opinion. Good luck! Happy Friday!

    1. Yeah this is my first time writing Contemp but I'm finding it a little easier than fantasy actually, still hard but I don't have to plan out a whole series / trilogy and it's nice knowing everything is going to be all wrapped up at the end!
Thanks for the follow I'll go check your blog out!

  2. I like the title of your blog! Very cleaver! I'd rather read the write. I did write stuff mostly for college and I based it on real life stuff. Nothing very interesting sadly.

  4. So cool! What are your books about? I love that you write what you read, I think when an author does that it really shines through. Good luck on your current works!

    1. Thanks for the follow and interest in my writing! Currently, I'm working on my contemporary which is about these two 17 years old each stuck in the "friendzone" with their crushes, who are determined to get out of it. The other books are more difficult to explain but I hope you'll check out "Grace&Steele" my new writing blog where I will be talking more about them all!

  6. Technically I'm aspiring as well because I've never had anything published, but that makes the goal sound further away so I just refer to myself as writer. I tend to write fantasy as well and am about to start my first ever novel! Thanks for sharing :) Have a great weekend!

    1. Yeah I'm weird. I used to call myself an aspiring writer and then I realized I'm not aspiring to write anymore I actually am, but I have all these weird thoughts and so I still tend to call myself an aspiring author.
      Good luck with your novel!

  9. I love going on all these new blogs! This was the best week to start back up =) I always love to see people writing or interested in fantasy, since that's kind of the niche I stick close to!

  12. OMG we need to be friends, haha!
No but seriously, I'm a writer too, and I write MG and YA too (mainly fantasy), and I'm an aspiring author too (so much so that that's the name of my blog)! I was actually thinking about doing an upper MG contemporary for my next book series (whenever I get around to writing it).

    New follower!

I hope you'll check out my post (even though it's a bit late)! :)
