Her only chance at breaking it lies in the ever-moving castle in the hills: the Wizard Howl's castle. To untangle the enchantment, Sophie must handle the heartless Howl, strike a bargain with a fire demon, and meet the Witch of the Waste head-on. Along the way, she discovers that there's far more to Howl—and herself—than first meets the eye.

Review: Three words to describe this book; Whimsical, hilarious, magical.
I really really loved this book, it was magical and funny and adorable and it had such an oddly cute romance, I just feel like gushing about it on and on but I will attempt to hold myself back.
So this book follows Sophie, the oldest of three sisters which means she's the unlucky one, the least fortunate. One day will working in her hat shop Sophie is cursed by the Witch Of The Waste and turned into an old lady...yeah. She makes her way to Howls Moving Castle, the castle of the evil wizard Howl, where she convinces the wizard(sorta) to let her live there and become the cleaning lady, this is the start of a hilarious story full of magic and mayhem.
Sophie - I just loved Sophie. This author did such an excellent job of at points making you forget that Sophie is actually a young girl(18 or so I think?) and then making it all too apparent and I loved every moment of Sophie's journey. At first I didn't think I would like a book where the main character is an old lady, but I was wrong.
Howl- Oh jeez, Howl is just the best. he's crazy and moody and hilarious and I think I have a big crush on him.
Dislikes - I only really have one small problem with this book and that's that some things aren't really explained...at all. But this is a small problem that didn't really make the book any less enjoyable.
Overall - I kinda loved this book. It's outrageous and like nothing I''ve ever read and I love it...now to track down the movie!
Would I Recommend This? Yes!
