13 Posts Of Halloween(2014): Top 5 Horror Movies

Today I'm going to be sharing my 5 Favorite Horror movies! Perfectly fitting for Halloween don't you think?

So I bundled series together, okay?

1. Scream! Scream has always been my favorite "horror" movies. I was so excited when the newest one came out, my brothers and I saw it at least three times in theaters. I remember watching the first with my cousin when I was like seven, it scared me so much, but now I love it. Every year my brothers and I watch the whole set on Halloween night. It's not super scary, it's fun to yell at the characters when they do stupid things and altogether, really, it's just fun.

2. Halloween With this...I had the best dad ever. Basically, when I was about 9 they were playing all the Halloween movies on Tv the week before Halloween and so my dad let us(my brothers and I) watch them with him. I love them but again they scared the crap out of me when I first saw them. Out of Micheal Myers, Freddy Krueger, and Jason(which in my mind are the three big ones), Halloween and Micheal Myers is my favorite. Though I have to say, I thought the remakes were just,,,so bad.

3. Salem's Lot This is more like a mini series. So, this came on TV in 2004...so I was...eight? And my whole family watched it together, all I remember is that it was awesome and scared the crap out of me. I literally had nightmares for months. But I love it now.

4. Donnie Darko I have no idea how to explain this movie...but I love it.

5. Cabin In The Woods Okay, so the ending is kind of lame, but all together I really like this movie. It's probably a 3 on a 1-5 scale of scary. Not that bad but still fun to watch.

What's your favorite scary movie?

  1. Scream is my favorite scary movie as well. I remember watching it at the movies, and absolutely everyone screamed. It was both so funny, and completely terrifying. I also really love Halloween, Deep Blue Sea (since one of my biggest fear is sharks), The Uninvited, Pet Sematary, and Eden Lake (which I never, ever will watch again). My sister and I spent a whole summer just watching scary movies a couple of years back, but I haven't seen one since that. I'm just too scared to watch them alone. :)

  2. I love how you make Halloween posts!! :) I barely watch horror films because when I do, I always end up hiding under my blankets so I end up not really watching at all. Haha :D But one of the scary movies I know are usually the violent action movies (which I consider as HORROR). I don't really like watching action movies, but then my dad is really into them so he pulls me in to watch with him.

I think I've heard of Scream! It sounds quite familiar :)

  3. I haven't seen any of these and I hardly believe I will watch them any time soon. I mean I have no doubts that they are great but I'm too much of a coward to watch them. So yeah! Great post and I'll hopefully see them one day ;)

  4. I haven't seen most of those, maybe the first scream. I'm not really one for horror movies. Probably Ringu the Japanese version of the ring is the scariest movie I've seen. It's not really horror, but Hocus Pocus is my favorite Halloween movie.

  5. Oh dear, I haven't seen any. I am not really much of a movie watcher. But my favorite scary movie is hands down Stephen King's "Storm of the Century". Holy crap. It was a miniseries, but is now available on DVD and stuff so I am counting it. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Storm_of_the_Century It is amazing and horrific and crazy.
