Sunday Post (I Don't Remember What Number I'm On): Addictted To Coffee

Song Of The Moment - Numb by Linkin Park
The Sunday Post
Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer

This is a meme where every Sunday you can share what's been going this week in your life and on your blog! It's also good for bragging about all your new lovely books!

Real Life
My life has been pretty normal, even considering NaNoWriMo recently...I did technically win NaNo passing 50k, but my story's not done yet so I haven't gotten to the "Oh my god I'm so excited I won!" phase yet. I've basically done nothing besides write or think about writing, though sometimes I dreamt about writing...

This happened on my Twitter when I got a little too overexcited about coffee creamer:

Now of course is when I self promote by telling you to follow my Twitter because I'm hilarious, unfortunately...I think the funniness may have been a fluke...also I think it was funnier that night now...not so much. So, I can't say that.

Moving on from my coffee addiction and awesomely unfunny Twitter...As you are reading this I am on my way to San Francisco!!!!!!! Why? For the Night Of Writing Dangerously! I'm so excited because first of all, San Francisco! I've only been once but loved it. Secondly, Night Of Writing Dangerously(which if you don't know what that is I'll explain in just a second)! And lastly, candy buffet! Which is what they have at the Night Of Writing Dangerously!

So yeah, my mom(who is awesome), is driving me down there today for the event which starts at like five or six...then we'll stay the night in a hotel(fun!) and drive home tomorrow!

Now, what is this mythical event I speak of? It's for NaNoWriMo! You fund raise and if you raise a certain goal you get your RSVP to the event, which is where around 250 writers converge in a ballroom, eat lots of candy(and coffee!), and write dangerously!

One not so fun thing is that while my migraines stopped I now have a sinus infection that also comes with headaches...I haven't been able to read or write much because of this(the last couple days) but it seems to be getting better!

What did I read this week?
Gideon Lee...was okay. 3.5 stars. My review is coming next week!
The Grievers Mark was pretty damn awesome! You can see my review here!

New Books
From Netgally:

So it's not a book but it's inspired by a book! The author of the Poison Study books had these on TeeSpring(I think) and as I had just finished reading the first Poison Study when I saw these I had to have one! It says "Seiges weathered ~ Fight together ~ Friends forever" on the front which is a saying from the book. And just says "Poison Study by Maria V. Snyder" on the back. It's also my Night Of Writing Dangerously outfit. along with jeans... =)

This Week On The Blog
Friday: Nothing!

Coming Soon(on the blog next week!)
I was planning on having my Night Of Writing Dangerously update tomorrow(Monday), but I have a review that has to go up that day, so the update will be on...Thursday! Monday is my review of Gideon Lee, Tuesday and Wednesday are memes! And Friday will be Ships I Don't Ship #3!

How was your week!? Anything interesting happen?

  1. I hope the Writing Dangerously event went well, and that your headache disappeared before you arrived in San Fransisco!
We Should Hang Out Some Time looks different! I hope you'll enjoy it.
Have a great Sunday and a fantastic week :)

  2. Congrats with NaNOWriMo! And have fun at Writing Dangerously. I can relate to the excitement about the holiday coffee creamers. I get all excited when I find them - especially new flavors. Have a great week!

  3. Don't worry, your twitter is plenty funny. Sometimes I just get in a funnier mood too. Yours will come back. I hope you have a good time tonight and your sinus infection doesn't throw you off too much. I love tshirts based on books! Though most people don't understand mine I'm still secretly hoping someone did and was just to shy to say anything.

  4. Wow! Congrats with NaNoWriMo and I hope you'll have fun in San Francisco. The twitter post is funny BTW and FYI coffee addict here too :)

    Here's mine:

  5. Congrats to already finishing NaNoWriMo, and I just love your new shirt. I hope you had fun in San Francisco, and that you ate a lot of candy! :)

  6. Oh, the sugar cookie coffee creamer sounds SO good! I just discovered Spiced Rum Cake creamer, and my goodness, it is a little piece of heaven. Congrats on the 50K, of course :)

I am looking forward to your thoughts on We Should Hang Out Sometime, and I am hoping that Night of Writing Dangerously was amazing! And your mom is awesome for taking you (I am dragging my mom to BEA, so our moms can commiserate ;) ) to San Francisco, I have always wanted to go there (since Full House. True story).

AND YAY for Ships I Don't Ship!!! I am so excited!!!
