"Top Ten Goals/Resolutions For 2015 -- bookish, blogging or otherwise!"
I don't do a ton of "resolutions" but I think I can come up with 10 book and blogging related ones! My main goal is to get work done next year(where it comes to reading, blogging, and my writing) but have fun and not stress.

*In no particular order

10.  Finally, finish reading The Hobbit. I've been "reading" it for a year now...I was waiting until I saw the 3rd movie to finish it and now I have so it's time!

9.  Keep my review ratio on Netgalley up.

8. Don't stress reading. Meaning do not stress out when I don't have a review going up because I'm behind on reading and don't stress if I don't get to an ARC before it comes out.

7.  Chill out about everything. This may be a hard goal but again my main goal for the year as a whole is to have fun and not get stressed out and not get bummed, hard things to control!

6. Keep caught up on comments! (This Is Never Going To Happen!!!)

5.  Keep up with my book buying ban, wherein I'm only allowed to pre-order/buy 2 books a month

4. Keep up with the challenges I signed up for.

3. Read more fantasy.

2. Read lots of epic books.

1. Blog regularly but not stressfully. Meaning don't force myself to post every day, it's fine to skip days, in fact, I'm probably done posting on Wednesdays except when I do WOW posts.

What about you? Do you have any fun/random goals for the new year?

  1. Oh man I would never be able to stick with a book buying ban, although I should have one. Haha

  2. I think it's a good goal to try not to get stressed with blogging. I know I do sometimes and I really shouldn't! It's a hobby of mine after all! I hope you achieve your goals! My TTT

  3. I've never tried forbidding myself from buying books....interesting. Not sure if it would work, though....

  4. I want to try and blog more frequently, but comfortably in 2015 as well. Blogging is supposed to be a fun hobby, and feeling stressed to post kind of takes the fun away. I ought to read The Hobbit, too. I glanced at it once, but never picked it up and took the time to actually read. Anyways, good luck with your resolutions!:)

  5. Hahaha it's ok we'll never be able to catch up with comments! I've been meaning to but then I just never do. ALSO MY RATIO IS 50% ON NG. I am so sad! But I'm trying really hard to read all my eARCs. Why did I request them all wah. Oh well.

Awesome goals Nobody! I hope you end up getting to all of them next year. I WILL BE CHEERING FOR YOUU

  6. Wow, impressive book buying ban! I am trying to keep to 5(ish?). Yeah, not so good. I like your goals though, I am trying to calm down too (that was one of mine, in fact) because it doesn't do anybody any good when you're stressed and driving yourself nuts. I want to get caught up on comments too! I am so close but.... so not close! I'll be *right* there one day, then boom, 18 new comments, and then I am back to square one! But, it is a problem I am VERY happy to have! Good luck with your goals :)

  7. GO FINISH THE HOBBIT. I tried reading Fellowship of the Ring, but stopped short because 1. it was boring me (I know, and I feel guilty for saying that) and; 2. the edition I got was printed in small text, which hurts ze eyes!!! My review ratio in Netgalley is below 80% noooooo. No wonder I'm always declined haha.

    Awesome resolutions!! :D

  8. These are some fantastic resolutions! I need to START the hobbit, my mother and my friends have been nagging me for ages so I think I'll have to fix that up these holidays, eh? Yes, I think it's important to not stress over reading or blogging-afterall, they're hobbies!

    Lovely post <33
