Sunday Post #15: All The Things

Song Of The Moment -  Irresistible by Fall Out Boy
The Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer

This is a meme where every Sunday you can share what's been going this week in your life and on your blog! It's also good for bragging about all your new lovely books!

Real Life
This week has been slightly hectic. I've been working a lot on revising my book, and haven't read much at all, sadly. I still have a ways to go with my editing but, hopefully, soon I'll be ready to send it to some beta readers which I need to find some more of...

Then, Wednesday I went bargain hunting with my brothers, we went to some thrift stores and my favorite used bookstore, so that was lots of fun! I've actually been keeping up with comments this week which is always a good thing! Though I still don't have any posts scheduled!

I read The Improbable Theory Of Ana and Zak which....I had very mixed feelings on it! It doesn't come out till May so my review won't be up for a while though! Besides that, I'm almost done with The Kiss Of Deception and am loving it!

New Books
From Bookoutlet:

The Dark Hunters vol 1(graphic novel) / The Winners Curse / City Of A Thousand Dolls / Broken Hearts Fences, and Other Things To Mend / Some Thing Real / You Look Different In Real Life

From bargain shopping:

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower / Dangerous Girls

 All The Bright Places
(Sorry it's upsidedown!)

Won from a Giveaway:
Now this is ridiculous, upside down and sideways!

Sorry, I'm feeling lazy and didn't link any of the books... =)

This Week On The Blog

I discussed whether it's always necessary to read the book before seeing the movie, listed out my top debuts for 2015, and reviewed Attachments by Rainbow Rowell. I also did a post called #BookNerdProblems because I was kind of bored and realized I used that hashtag a lot!

On My Writing Blog Grace&Steele(I'm Steele!)
I talked about emotions in books, shared more inspiring writing quotes, and shared an excerpt from the novel I'm currently working on! We also did the Beautiful People meme!

Coming Soon(on the blog next week!)
   Um...I have ideas...

How was your week!? Anything interesting happen?
Also, quick question, if I put up a wanted post for beta readers do you think you or anyone in general might be interested? I'm really conflicted on whether to do this or not!

  1. I love thrift stores and used bookstores but it's been far too long since I've been to either. Looks like you had a good haul! Good luck with the book revising and editing! Have a great week!

    1. Yeah, I love them too but I don't get to them very often, maybe once every sixth months!

Thanks and I hope you have an awesome week too!

  2. Ooh I'm about to read The Imposible Theory of Ana and Zak--I've seen a few 4 stars on GR, but other than that I don't know what to really expect when I do read it. I bought a BookOutlet order as well! Mine still hasn't come yet, but that's probably because I'm all the way here in Australia, heh. Congrats on winning Let's Get Lost! I hope you find it to be enjoyable.

    Have a lovely week <33

    1. I hope you like Ana and Zak, it's a really good book I just found parts a little ridiculous. You'll have to let me know what you think! =)

  3. I was participating in the Bout of Books so I read a LOT this week. :)

  4. Oh, I can't wait to read All the Bright Places! And Dangerous Girls is crazy good, I hope you'll like it (and the rest of the books as well). :)

    1. I can't wait to read them! Why must other things get in the way of reading?!

      Thanks! =)

  5. I'm hoping to read The Winners Curse this week myself, I've heard such good things about it, so it's about time really. Something Real sounds great and I've heard good things, so good luck with that! Dangerous Girls, well that was a great find, it's fantastic, and All the Bright Places, you may just cry your eyes out hun! Great little haul and hope you have a much better week this week :)

  6. I know lots of people are interested in being beta readers, so I guess you have nothing to lose by trying ;) Ah, I have trouble with the pics on my blog too, they have a mind of their own lol. Have a great week !

  7. I've been really good and not bought any books for ages, as my arcs are piling up. That's a great haul though :)

Here's to a good week xx

My Sunday Post & Shelf Stack

  8. I haven't read any of the same books as you recently, I think. I have seen some movies but I don;t think they were adapted directly from books. my Sun Post is here:

  9. I have heard good things about All the Bright Places...enjoy your week, and good luck with your revisions and finding Beta readers.

    Thanks for visiting my blog...

  10. I'm wanting to read All the Bright Places. It's been recommended by a few friends. I love thrift stores and used book stores. I go to them allowing a lot of time for browsing for books and take a couple of totes to fill. LOL

    My Sunday Post -

  11. Great haul! Pictures tend to have a mind of there own on my blog too. Have a great week!

  12. I LOVE The Perks of Being a Wallflower!!! One of my favorite books! I have put off watching the movie for really no good reason at all. I'm just not sure that I will love it like I loved the book. I hope that you have a wonderful week. If it makes you feel better I don't have any posts scheduled either. Yikes :)

  13. Ah, your Book Outlet haul is glorious! I have gotten most of those at some point from BO too ;) Also, I pre ordered All the Bright Places too, it is so good so far, I hope you love it!

My week was also hectic, though unlike you,I have been the WORST at keeping up with comments. I am still playing catch up as we speak! I would do a beta read, though I must admit, I have never done one before (so you know, keep that in mind!). Good luck with the editing, that has to be tough work!

    1. Yeah, I've been seeing those books pop up in BO hauls for over a month now and couldn't not get them this time! And I can't wait to start All The BrIght Places!!!

Awesome, that would be great if you still want to beta read once you know the details! I've never had a real beta reader(beyond immediate family) so I plan on making a post all about what I would want from one but it would be fairly easy and low key. =)

Also, I plan at failing on comments this week because I can't keep it up two weeks in a row so don't feel too bad! =D
