Sunday Post #16: A Lazy Week

Song Of The Moment - Uma Thurman by Fall Out Boy

The Sunday Post

Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted over at Caffeinated Book Reviewer

This is a meme where every Sunday you can share what's been going this week in your life and on your blog! It's also good for bragging about all your new lovely books!

Real Life
I don't know whether to consider this week hectic or lazy... basically last Sunday I came down with an annoying head cold(sore throat, stuffy nose, ect.), was pretty much over that by Tuesday and feeling pretty good and then I got a severe sinus infection that pretty much defined the rest of my week as between the bouts of dizziness and headaches I pretty much stayed in bed for three days! So, suffice to say I'm behind on comments and posts, didn't get hardly any work done on my book and yeah...watched a lot of Friends on Netflix though!

So, while it sucked being sick it was kind of nice not to have to do anything, so I can't complain too much! And I did manage to get quite a bit of reading done when I was feeling better throughout the week!

So, I finished reading The Kiss Of Deception, which I loved. Then had my heart broken by All The Bright Places (still haven't recovered). I then read Don't Ever Change and thought it kind of meh. I also read and thought meh about The Last Dragonslayer which was one of my TBR Pile Challenge books, so yay for that!

This Week On The Blog

Coming Soon(on the blog next week!)
There will be posts! Probably 4 of them! I want to revamp my Ships I Don't Ship feature but I want it to be better and haven't decided what I'm doing with it yet so there may or may not be one of those posts! =D

So, how was your week? Please do share awesome posts and any great reads down below!

  3. I'm glad you're feeling better. It's a great thing that you relaxed and enjoy while being ill. Well my weeks are getting wilder and wilder with finals coming. I'll have to survive somehow. Also I need to read All The Bright Places soon. Great post :)

    1. Thanks, it was nice to just relax. I'm sure your life is hectic at the moment! Luckily All The Bright Places would break your heart so much that you'd probably forget all about finals...I'm not sure if that's good or bad though. =)

  5. Ugh sorry to hear you've been sick. I hate being sick and what's even worse I'm never able to read when sick so I can't even take advantage of the forced rest! Friends sounds like the perfect show to watch while not feeling well though! I've been wanting to do a little binge on the series myself. Have a great week!

    1. Yeah usually I can't read when I'm sick as all I feel like doing is sleeping but luckily it worked out this time! I think it was mostly because I really really really wanted to read All The Bright Places! Friends is perfect, hope you get time to binge watch it soon!

  6. You know it's weird, but my bronchitis happened the same way. I felt like I had the flue for a couple days, then I was starting to feel better and BAM lost my voice and got much worse. I hope you are feelng better and congrats on using the time to read! I watched Bones all that week so it didn't help me get caught up LOL

    1. That's weird, I hate when that happens which is pretty much any time I'm sick, right when I think I'm better it comes back worse! I am feeling better, thanks.

Bones is important too(like Friends!), though I'm like three seasons behind on it! =)

  7. That's such a coincidence. I got over the flu and right after that I got a cold. It's been weird this year. Hope you feel better soon and yeah to lots of reading!

  8. I'm glad to see you're feeling better, it's hard being sick, especially when you're so out tired you can't even read. But watching TV under the duvet is good too :) Have a better week !

  9. Hope you get better soon!! Being sick is awful :( at least you have books and Netflix to accompany you (although I'm not really sure how Netflix works; it doesn't run in my country). I LOVE FRIENDS :D hope this week will be better!
