60k in 5Days: sooo... I did mention I believe once or twice that my brother dared me to try and write 60,000 words in just 5 days. Now, keep in mind, this time last year I did my first 50k week where I wrote 50,000 words in 7 days and it almost killed me... Anyhow... I DID IT! In fact, I ended the five days with not 60k but 60,047...so... BAM!
That also means that I won NaNo, as my goal was 100k and I've written just over 102k. Yay! As for how I managed to do this... I have a theory. You see, much like a cat I have nine lives and to write so much so quickly (I finished this all on the 16th) I had to lose a life... I'm now down to like seven, don't ask how I lost the other. ;)
I haven't written since, because I was tired and then still tired and then feeling migrainey but I do plan on writing a bit more by the end of the month to at least finish up my second novel Codename: Wonderland. Here's my writing playlist for it, it includes lots of Wonderland-y songs and, of course, my NaNo months anthem, Go The Distance from Hercules. Also, obviously some Fall Out Boy...and some rap? Blame my brother but it turns out listening to a little rap really helps me concentrate when writing. Who knew?
What have you been up to? I'm about halfway through two books for the Make Me Read It read-a-thon, if you're doing it, hows it coming? If you're writing anything, I want to know! Just, TELL ME THINGS! Please?
