13 Posts Of Halloween 2015 #10 My Favorite Creepy Things

13 Posts Of Halloween will be taking place all month here at The Story Goes... with 13 Halloween related posts!

Okay, so this isn't my ~most~ creative post but I just finished writing a novel, I have to outline a new novel for NaNoWriMo because I changed my plans, I'm spending all day Friday preparing for Halloween, I've barely read all month, and my creative wells are a little depleted. Plus, I'm proud of the fact that I haven't had any filler posts this year that I threw together in five minutes, so I'm okay with it.

Basically, these's are creepy things that I LOVE. Which is similar to my fears post but most those I don't love.

Skulls!
I'm not a creepo. I don't mean real skulls, I'm mean like skulls and crossbones and skulls in fake Halloween graveyards.

Clowns!

Okay, it's not so much that I love clowns as it is that they terrify my brother which amuses me greatly.

Graveyards!

Sooo, eerie!

Ghosts!

We've established this, right? I love ghosts: fake, real, and everything in between.

Campfire stories!

YES. Give me all the campfire stories, please? My brother went on a camping trip, one of those overnight school trip things, when he was in fifth grade and there was this story his teacher told him about this guy who was lost in the woods and starving and licked himself, thought he tasted good, and ate himself. That's the first campfire story I remember hearing and if I could remember the full thing I'd tell you! Though, it's kind of gross, I know.

Horror movies!

There's something so awesome about horror movies, they can scare you but you can always pause and close your eyes, and yeah. LOVE them.

Horror books!

Come on, who doesn't want to scare themselves with a good creepy book before bed???

Being scared!

Okay, it's true. I am the biggest pansy in the world, I have proof, and real life type things terrify me. But I love to scare myself with books and movies, and going to the giant haunted house even if I yelp at every little thing.

Running out of ice cream...
I kid, I kid. this is the scariest thing on the list, of course I don't love it, it TERRIFIES ME.

So, do you like being scared? Just a little bit?

Also, we are in the last stretch! Check back tomorrow for another post and click here to see all the ones you've missed!

  1. CLOWNS ARE THE SCARIEST!!!! HAHAHA :( :( And also horror movies, but I rarely watch them. The last horror film I ever watched was Carrie (the one with Chloe Moretz and Ansel Elgort). Although some parts were sort of creepy and all, I didn't think it was as scary as the other movies out there :)

    Great post Shay! <3
