13 Posts Of Halloween 2015 #3: How To Get Into The Spirit Of Halloween

13 Posts Of Halloween will be taking place all month here at The Story Goes... with 13 Halloween related posts!

Having trouble feeling Halloween this year? Here's eleven easy steps to help you enjoy the month!

1. Buy Candy.

This is the most essential step. You NEED candy. It doesn't matter what kind as long as it's something you love, though I recommend anything that contains chocolate.

2. Eat Candy.
Um, obviously.

3. Buy a pumpkin.

Because, pumpkins.

4. Don't do anything with the pumpkin because who has time for carving? Or the skill for that matter?

If you do know how then go ahead and carve the best pumpkin ever, I do not posses this skill, though.

5. Get a blanket.

Again, this is a VERY IMPORTANT step.

6. Make popcorn.

Also VERY IMPORTANT.

7. Turn on the TV

Again, important!

8. Watch American Horror Story (hopefully you have Netflix so you can watch the whole series, if not, you'll have to make do with whatever you can find). Just make sure it's Halloween appropriate!

9. Cower under the blanket at appropriate times

10. Eventually spill the popcorn (or eat it all, your choice)

11. NEVER SLEEP AGAIN

This pointless post, brought to you but the person who couldn't sleep last night because she started watching American Horror Story. IN THE DARK.

Have you seen American Horror Story? What season is the best? Thoughts on horror movies in general, do you like them, hate, don't have an opinion, are too much of scaredy cat to watch them alone? That last one's me, by the way.

  1. NO I have not seen American Horror Story! I don't know if I would want to watch it.

ALSO YOU FORGOT ABOUT WATCHING THE GREAT PUMPKIN CHARLIE BROWN EPISODE. Like come on, that is a must hahah. (I don't know if you mentioned this in any of your other posts, but are you dressing up Shay?)

    1. American Horror Story is....strange. I'm still on the first season and it has creepy moments but for the most part I haven't been like completely terrified. And it's...weird. I'm still not sure how much I like, honestly!

HOW COULD I FORGET CHARLIE BROWN!? I'm a disgrace! Yes, it's definitely a must. I don't think I've mentioned about dressing up, my brothers and I turned the front yard into a big scary set up so we're just going to wear some creepy masks and scare children... I have Ghostface mask from scream. =D
