Sorting My Characters Into Their Hogwarts Houses

It's day 4 of NaNoWriMo! If you're WriMo-ing, how the heck are you doing???

For fun, I've decided to sort the characters of my NaNoWriMo novel (read all about it here!) into their Hogwarts houses! Funsies!

Hufflepuff for life:

Colter "Colt" Kane:

Colt is definitely a Ravenclaw. He loves learning and his whole quest in the novel is about seeking knowledge, he honestly doesn't understand how his people can be okay understanding nothing of their world. He'd fit in nicely among the bronze and blue Ravenclaws. (he'd also love answering riddles to get into the dorms).

Terry Nil:

Terry, hmm...I think he's Gryffindor. He loves having fun but there's nothing that's more important to him than loyalty to his friends. He's also pretty brave (which can also be seen as stupidity sometimes).

Kalene Nil:

Kalene is a Hufflepuff. She's super smart and humble, and very loyal and loving. She also likes to just...exist. Hates to worry. I feel like she'd be the kind to sneak into the kitchens late at night for snacks and just, really get along with the casual Hufflepuff.

Slytherin. He's cunning and charming and could possibly be evil, but who really knows? Which isn't really a Slytherin trait, but kind of? Kind of. He is also very very sneaky and ambitious.

Is also a Slytherin. It was a tough call between Ravenclaw and Slytherin for him but, in the end, I think the sorting hat would go with Slytherin for his cunning/charming/resourceful ways. (it's interesting because Delvan and Remy couldn't be less alike if they tried)

If you're a writer, sort some of your characters in the comments whether you're doing NaNo or not!

If you aren't a writer then tell me what your Hogwarts house is! Mine's Hufflepuff. I am both a Hufflepuff and a Gryffindor okay? Because I always get sorted into Gryffindor but I want to be a Hufflepuff, I feel like I am a Hufflepuff, and I'm sure the sorting hat would take that into consideration.
